Start by exposing hidden cards
The strongest early move in Klondike is usually the move that reveals a face-down tableau card. A visible card gives you information, but a newly revealed hidden card gives you options.
Before moving cards to the foundation, check whether that card is still needed as a color bridge in the tableau. Sending cards upward too quickly can trap sequences that still need support.
Use empty columns carefully
An empty column is one of the most valuable resources in Solitaire because only a king can occupy it. Avoid creating an empty space unless you have a useful king ready or a sequence that can unlock several hidden cards.
If two kings are available, choose the one with the longer alternating-color sequence underneath it. That usually creates more future moves.
Plan around the draw pile
When playing draw-three rules, the order of the stock matters. Sometimes the best move is to wait one pass so a buried card appears in the right position.
If you are stuck, scan the tableau first, then the waste pile, then foundations. This habit prevents accidental moves that look good but reduce mobility.
