Tears of Metal Weapon Build Guide

Pick a weapon identity early. Bleed melts light enemies; stagger handles big targets โ€” build the weapon that matches your fights.

By EratoGame Editors Builds

Tears of Metal builds start with the weapon. These notes use starter data to establish the planning pattern โ€” verify live stats as the game updates.

Mod slots

  • Overdrive Mod adds damage but conflicts with Stability โ€” choose one direction.
  • Match mod tags to weapon tags for free scaling.
  • Run the build planner before spending materials on a mod you cannot slot.

Upgrade order

Weapon level first, mods second, armor last. Use the upgrade calculator to check scrap and bolt gates โ€” a weapon stuck at level 2 blocks the whole build.
